Jordan Art Festival Receives     
2010 MRAC GRANT

The Jordan Art Festival is made possible, in part, by funds provided by the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council (MRAC) through a grant from the McKnight Foundation and an appropriation by the Minnesota Legislature, and is supported locally by the Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce, area businesses and Friends of the Arts.

A Big Check Event Event

Pictured at the January 29 "Big Check" event are Maureen Carlson and Kathy Mattson, from the Jordan Art Festival committee, and State Representative District 35b, Mark Buesgens.

The "Big Check" event is an opportunity to celebrate the importance of the arts and to meet with area legislatures and with other recipients of the 2010 grants.  The check represents the $5000 grant that was received from MRAC for the 2010 Jordan Art Festival.
 

Arts Organizations Receive Grants

The awards reception was held at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center.
